Cast and Character Profiles
Layla
Yasmin plays the main character “Layla” who is an outgoing, adventurous 16 year old who’s passionate about finding the killer in her neighborhood to finally get justice for her deceased friends
Adelaide
Abigail plays “Adelaide”, a witty, courageous teen who plays a key role as not only Layla's best friend, but as the killer's second and final victim. The group is distraught at her death and this pushes them even harder to find out the killers identity and to put them behind bars.
Sophie
Sophie was the only one at the carnival that wasn't to be found at the time of the murder, and therefore is suspected of the murderers secretly by Layla and Morgan. Did she do it?
Morgan
As a lover of true crime, Morgan plays a key role in their investigation into the murder of their Arabella and Adelaide by finding crucial evidence for the murders
Nora
Nora was not on good terms with Arabella at the time of her untimely death because a year previously they had a major conflict each other over a potential romance - was Nora still that angry about the fight? More importantly, was she angry enough to kill Arabella?
Bobby - Layla’s dad
Bobby is Layla's dad, who she lives with. He comforts Layla and advises her to be safe when she goes out with her friends. Layla makes sure he is unaware of the investigation as she does not want to be stopped from investigating her friends death
Maria - Layla's mum
Maria is Layla's mum, who lives far from Layla and her friends, but despite this, still makes an effort to comfort Layla about the death of her friends.
Dylan
Dylan is Layla's love interest, however they begin to get into arguments because he is the only member of the group who doesn't appear to be hugely affected by the death of his friends. Is it a shock or is there room for suspicion?
Anastasia
Anastasia is a possible suspect as the murderer because of her recent feud with Adelaide. She seems distraught over her friends death, however could the tears all be an act?
Arabella
The first victim of the killer. Her friends are shocked and horrified by her death, which kickstarts her friends investigation into finding her killer, and making sure the murders stop with one victim, not multiple.
